Welcome to Method Retreats. These terms and conditions outline the agreement between you (the participant) and Method Retreats. By booking a place on our retreat, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms in full.


1. Booking & Payment

  • No deposit is required — full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

  • All prices are listed in AUD and include GST (if applicable).

  • Payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or secure online payment link.

  • Payment plans may be offered on request, subject to approval.


2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 3 months prior to the retreat start date will receive a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 3 months prior to the retreat start date are non-refundable.

  • Bookings may be transferred to another individual with written notice.

  • Travel insurance is mandatory, and we recommend selecting a policy that includes cancellation protection.

  • If Method Retreats must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disaster, illness, border closures), a full refund or credit toward a future retreat will be

    offered.


3. Participant Requirements

  • All participants must be 18 years or older.

  • Participants must be in good general health to join wellness and movement activities.

  • Travel insurance and medical insurance are required for all attendees and must cover international or domestic travel (depending on your location).

  • A waiver form must be signed before the retreat begins.

  • All health conditions, allergies, or special needs must be disclosed prior to the retreat.


4. Travel Terms

  • Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from the retreat.

  • Arrival is expected by 4:00 PM on October 25; departure is after 10:00 AM on November 1.

  • If airport transfers are included in your package, they apply only on designated retreat dates.

  • Method Retreats is not responsible for missed activities due to travel delays or disruptions.

  • Valid passports, visas (if required), and proof of insurance are your responsibility.


5. Accommodation Terms

  • Accommodation is included for 7 nights: Oct 26–Nov 1.

  • Standard rooms are shared twin rooms unless a private upgrade has been booked.

  • We do our best to accommodate roommate preferences but cannot guarantee specific pairings.

  • Please treat the accommodation and property with respect — any damage will be billed to the participant.

  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.


6. Liability Waiver

  • Method Retreats, Influent, and facilitators are not liable for injury, illness, damage, loss, or theft during the retreat.

  • You acknowledge that participation in activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically and mentally fit for retreat activities.


7. Health & Safety

  • All participants must provide proof of medical insurance that includes coverage for illness and emergency care.

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, dietary needs, or allergies ahead of the retreat.

  • All guests are expected to follow local health guidelines and any safety instructions provided during the retreat.


8. Code of Conduct

  • Respect for other guests, staff, facilitators, and the space is essential.

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

  • Alcohol consumption is allowed in moderation; no illegal substances are permitted.


9. Itinerary Changes

  • The schedule and listed inclusions are subject to change due to weather, group needs, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • We will communicate any significant changes as early as possible.


10. Media Release

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional use.

  • If you prefer not to appear in any media, please let us know in writing before the retreat.


11. Agreement Confirmation

By booking your place at Method Retreats, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

  • Will obtain valid travel and medical insurance before attending.

  • Understand that no refunds are available for cancellations made less than 3 months before the start date.


12. Personal Expenses

  • Method Retreats is an all-inclusive experience covering accommodation, scheduled meals, and all planned retreat activities.

  • However, alcohol, extra food outside scheduled meals, shopping, and optional free-time activities (such as spa visits, local excursions, or off-site dining) are not included.

  • Please bring sufficient spending money to cover any personal purchases or extras you may wish to enjoy during your stay.

  • We recommend bringing a credit/debit card and some cash, as not all local vendors may accept cards.
